I have a problem.
A shopping problem.
Since I have started working I have been pretty careful with my spending, but I can tell I am slipping! HELP!!!!! Thankfully I still make sure to put up a lil bit from every check! But that's not the problem! It's spending the left overs! Ugh! I only had a problem till this past weekend, but with this new make up sale I saw I'm like ughhh! But seriously buy 1 get 1 free! For under 30 bucks I can get 8 pieces of make up! & if you don't know make up is expensive! You can spend 6 to 8 dollars on one piece! So come on seriously is that buy 1 get 1 free not a steal or what???? So okay I have to get this sale before it ends, BUT after that I promise to do better!
HELP ME!

If You...
As the wind within the trees
You may hear what I hear
See what sorrow sees.
If you come as lightly
As threading dew
I will take you gladly
Nor ask more of you.
You may sit beside me
Silent as a breath
Only those who stay dead
Shall remeber death.
And if you come I will be silent
Nor speak harsh words to you.
I will not ask you why now.
Or how, or what you do.
We shall sit here, softly
Beneath two different years
And the rich earth between us
Shall drink our tears.

I received a love letter today.
Well I guess you can call it a "love letter." It was written on the back of a McDonald's receipt & I can't tell what one of the lines says =(
It's the thought that counts right?

Fit Tip Tuesday.

Drink between 8-10 glasses of water daily. Your body needs water to function properly. Drinking enough water will promote weight loss, rid your body of toxins, give you more energy, and even clear up your skin.

Are You?
So apparently I look Filipino. I get that A LOT! Even today I was asked if I was Filipino. I think I might just start saying yes & got with it lol! Seriously! It's the number one race I get confused for. I remember when I used to enjoy the nightlife all the time I used to get Filipino or Asian all the time! Asian guys would always stare at me with those looks like "is she or isn't she?" I would even have guy friends that would just introduce me to people as Asian among other things!
Now at work, mostly the black men, think I'm Asian! They swear that somewhere in my blood line I am! I think its the small eyes & round round face. Those attributes are compliments of my Dad's side of the family. My aunt's and uncle's have even smaller eyes then me! I just think it's funny, because it's something I hear ALL the time. So maybe every once in a while I will just go with it & see how it goes lol

Hazards...
Of my job.
Well they're not dangerous things just things that come along with my job...
1. Paper Cuts
Seriously they freakin hurt! I do A LOT of filing & well paper cuts are inevitable.
2. My Feet Falling Off
Not literally but I stand ALL day! The only time I really sit is on my 30min lunch break!
3. Ogled
I work with mostly men. Enough said.
Funny story about #3. I was doing p.o. envelopes & one of the workers that I don't really see much came in. Well where I stand they have shelves where they turn in their daily paperwork. So of course he says hi & I ask about his day then he ask if I'm learning anything, because he saw all the paperwork in front of me. Well after I said yes he literally stared at me for a minute. LMAO! I kept on doing my work tho I wasn't going to let him stop me, I just found it so hilarious! I thought to myself, "If you wanna stare at me at least have some sort of conversation with me!" Right? I mean I'm pretty polite & can easily talk to anyone so unless a cat caught his tongue he shoulda asked me something or made a comment! Oh well.....it coulda been worse!

I guess I need to make some Korean accounts and start voting lol!

I've made a decision about Mark.
If you don't know who "Mark" is I'm disappointed! He's like an important piece of my life lol! Anyway I've decided that Mark is over due for some TLC! Now that I'm working I'm going to start fixing him up! I want him to run as best as he can, because right now he isn't doing so hot! LOL! After I get all the maintenance things done then I'm moving onto appearance!
I wanna be able to drive Mark around for a while, so I'm really eager to get him in top condition! I promise y'all I'm going to drive him until he won't start! Honda's are decent cars so he should last a while! First thing on my to do list is get a Cadillac converter installed......Good bye $200. If my pocket could feel pain it would be saying ouch right now!

Silly Boys...
Well men really, but silly men doesn't sound as good as silly boys! I work at a freight company that's, you guessed it, all men! Since I am a female surrounded by men you can imagine what I get told! Now whats funny is the guys who really wanna know something about me don't ask directly. They kinda hint around or try to find ways to find out what they wanna know.
Example. Today I was checking my phone & one of the workers was like "hey, hey get off." I told him he needed to concentrate on his work lol. So then he says, "texting your boyfriend telling him your almost out?" I was like "huh?" He responded asking if I was texting & I said no. Then he was like oh & didn't say anything anymore.
See what he did there? What he wants to ask is if I'm single & me knowing this is not gonna give a direct answer, because hey what fun would that be lol! I'm sure eventually he will bring it up again. The only ones who ask me direct questions are the older older guys. Like grandpa ages lol.
I have to say I don't mind, because it gives me some excitement during the day & something to look forward too!

Wine.
My enemy in life.
Why you ask, because it can kill me. Okay I don't THINK it's THAT severe lol. But I am allergic to wine! Well the sulfates that are found in wine. One time I partook in a toast for a friend returning to Germany and had a delicious wine. Well the next day I paid for that deliciousness! I literally had less than half a glass & that was all it took! It's actually weird, because I have had wine before and nothing ever happened. Well over the next course of days I had hives & itched & one of my arms swelled up. Ugh horrible. I had to go to the Dr. & that's when I found out about my allergy. The Dr. even yelled at me! WTH! I was in agony, because of the itching & he was lecturing me!!! I was like wth maybe you could yell if I knew about my allergy and ignored it, but I was a "newbie." Oh well after a round of steroids and itch cream & pills I was good as new. I just can't drink wine anymore which isn't a problem since I never really drank it anyway!

Adulthood.
I am now an adult! Well closer to one at least! I know your probably thinking, your 25 you've been an adult for a while! But I wasn't a very responsible adult. I'm not gonna lie I pretty much used school as an excuse to not grow up. Well at least to delay the responsibility of adulthood. It's not fun being an adult! Seriously you have so much expectations. Yes I know you will always have them, but they get worse as you get older.
In ways it's almost like your expected not to make any mistakes because your old enough to know better. Which is kinda crazy right? Your supposed to be able to support yourself in all aspects. Let's be honest it's kinda hard right now with the economy being in such a poor state. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. For my brother & I we have been spoiled. Literally. They help with everything which is good, because parents should be there for their children. At the same time its a bad thing because its taken us longer to become independent adults.
I had a time where I had a test of "adulthood" and for the most part it was awesome because I did what I wanted. Lol. But their is a million things to do and worry about! Cleaning, cooking, paying bills, managing money, & the list can go on. Now I enjoyed that time in my life & I really learned about the struggles of being an adult out in the world. I'm glad I had that experience because I was able to understand my parents more than I did before. & I sure as hell appreciated them more.
Since I have been back home after learning a little about life I have kinda been wandering. I say that because I wasn't really doing anything with my life. Yes I was in school, but honestly that doesn't make you an adult. It's working & juggling school or kids or taking care of a household and a bunch of other things. For a while now it kinda seemed like I was stuck, because I wanted to work but wasn't. & not because I wasn't looking, trust me I was, but I just wasn't getting called back. But thankfully I can now say I am employed!
I have worked before but I didn't feel as satisfied as I do now. Don't get me wrong I LOVED my previous job & if I could I would love to work their again. The difference between then & now was that I had someone (Not my parents) who I knew was there to take care of me. That I knew I could depend on. I used to be a pretty dependent person. It was either on my parents or an ex from my past. Now that I don't like depending on my parents & I don't have anyone else to depend on I can finally learn to be more independent. It's a pretty great feeling I must say!
I recently got a position at a freight company & so far I like it. It's a 40 hour job & I work in the office. I'm slowly learning the day to day operations of managing deliveries of goods to grocery stores. It really is a whole lot that goes on that I never even thought about. I'm excited to learn a whole new set of skills. I know there will be days that it will suck but at the end of the day I know that I don't have to depend on anyone else to support me. I can go out & shop or go out with my friends & be able do that as a result of working & earning my check. How could that not be a great feeling?
Adulthood I welcome you with open arms...

Drama Quote.
“When the wind blows, it’s okay to shake. I have faith that at some point, the wind will stop. When it rains, seek out friends. You’re not alone. When love comes, love. And when love leaves, let it go. When you accept what you can’t change, a different love will come. The times of being overcome with jealousy are over. Treasuring today… confessing that I love you… Now I think I can be happy. This is UBN News’ Lee Shin-Young.”This quote was is the drama The Woman Who Still Want to Marry. It's in the ending monologue of the final episode. To me that's a pretty good quote that has a good message. My favorite part is when she says,
If that isn't insightful & make since to you I have no idea what to say! I believe that A LOT of drama's have some decent life lessons. You might not like how some of the stories turnout, but you can always take something away at the end.
