Drake - Headlines

"I might be too strung out on compliments
Overdosed on confidence
Started not to give a f-ck and stop fearing the consequence"

Share Sunday.

Share Sunday is going to be another weekly feature on my blog. Every Sunday I will share 1 fact about me. It's going to be something I like, hate, want, basically ANYTHING. The possibilities are endless lol.

My first share is:

As you can see it's a picture of a float. Why, you ask. Well I don't know how to swim. Crazy right? Yes when I was younger I used to LOVE going to the pool. But I always stayed where it was safe. I could never be as bold as my brother lol. I do go swimming tho! Usually at my aunts and I use a float lol. I'm not ashamed! Maybe ONE day I'll actually learn, maybe...

BoM (비오엠) 니가없이 뮤직비디오 풀버전

Blooming of Our Music has finally made their official debut with the release of the title track MV, “Without You“!

I love KPOP what can I say! I have had this song on repeat! I know what your thinking, "You don't even know what there saying!" So what! It's all about feeling the music! & fyi the song is about a man who suffers a hard time erasing the memories of his one true love. *sigh* So good!

Leave In for 2-3 Mintues. Rinse Thoroughly.

Hair Conditioner.

An important step to any female's hair care regiment. I only have one problem with it. I ALWAYS finish the shampoo before the conditioner. I personally like to buy the matching sets, so once I finish the shampoo I buy another set. Can you see the problem?

The result is my shower always being filled with about 3 or 4 conditioners. It would probably be more if my mother didn't take one to use lol. Right now I have conditioner's from TRESemme, Bath & Body Works, Redken, & a conditiong set from Phytho that contains 3 seperate bottles. The 3 bottles are seperate steps for conditioning. So that's 6!!!

Yor probably thinking WOW. I know I am after actually realizing what I have! As much as I love buying matching set's I THINK I'm pretty set on conditioner's for a while lol. My goal is to use the rest of the conditioner's I have before buying something new!

Hmmm...that doesn't include any new leave-in conditioners's tho :)

The Greatest Love.

This was one of THE best Korean dramas I have watched! I usually get really mad watching these show & have lot's of things to complain about lol. But this one I just loved! I loved everything! I was completely hooked after the first episode! The series is only 16 episodes so I finished it in 2 days! I couldn't stop watching! I laughed, cried, was happy, EVERYTHING! The cast was wonderful! I loved all the characters & how they managed to intertwine them all! Is it wishful thinking to hope for a spin-off? Lol.

Here is the synopsis:
Ae Jung was once the most popular member of girl band The National Treasure Girls. However 10 years ago the band broke up and she received most of the blame. Despite her warm personality her career has suffered ever since and she now spends her time fighting for air time on variety shows. Dokko Jin is a top movie star at the height of his career. The two meet and become involved in each other's careers. Yoon Pil Joo is a doctor of oriental medicine who has no interest in the entertainment industry but agrees to make a dating show. Dokko Jin helps get Ae Jung a role on a new reality show called Couple Making. Pil Joo is the bachelor being set up on Couple Making. Both men fall for Ae Jung both off and on the screen.

This is really a great show & I really recommend you give it a watch! If you click the picture above it will take you to where you can watch it online for free! Trust me you won't regret it!

Azaleas...

When you take your leave
Tired of seeing me,
Gently and sliently I'll bid you go.

From Mount Yag of Yeongbyeon
An armful of azaleas I shall pick,
And strew them in your path.

Go now, I pray, with short steps!
Tread them softly with a light step,
The flowers which I have spread for you.

When you take your leave
Tired of seeing me,
Though I should die, I shall not weep.

This poem was written by Kim So-Wol in 1925.
I've fallen in love with it after hearing it in "The Greatest Love." A Korean drama I'm watching.

Fact Friday.

I decided that on friday's I will posting a random fact about whatever! Lol. It will be something that I read somewhere that is TRUE and I thought was pretty interesting! Here is the first fact:

In Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, the world’s smallest dinosaur footprints were found in 1984. They were made by a creature likely no larger than a robin.

I'm posting this fact for my brother. When he was little he was OBSESSED with dinosaurs!

Rant.

So lately something has been bugging me. I don't understand how people choose to stay in bad situations. And to make it worse it's like their oblivious to whats causing the problems! I mean are people blind or is it just easier to not think about it in a attempt that the problem will resolve itself?

& I know, you don't know what their going thru & it's not that easy, but STILL! I don't see how you can be in a situation that is obviously affecting the people around you AND especially when it's so obvious to others. Seriously everytime you look in the mirror can't you see how unhappy you are? No matter what the situation is or how bad it is their is always help.

People always say, "I feel sorry for them." Well you know what I don't. That might be a little harsh, but I just feel like if something in your life is bad then the smart thing to do is get out of the situation or let the problem go. Kick it out of your life. NEVER let someone belittle who you are. Stand up for yourself.

The hardest thing about making a change is the first step. Yea it's scary & hard as hell, but look at where your at. Ask yourself "Is this where I wanna be at?" I'm pretty sure the answer is no. So get the courage to take that step. Trust me their is someone who will be their to help you. Just ask. If anything you ALWAYS have the big guy upstairs.

Take charge of your life. Don't be the victim. Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.

Harry Potter.

WOW! I LOVED the ending to such a great series. I have read every book & made sure to see every movie. My brother & I grew up with Harry Potter so there was no way we were missing the final film in theaters this weekend! This film did not disappoint. It had the action (great battle scenes), sadness, & happiness it needed to tie the movies to an end.

I do admit some scenes could have used more emotion, but I realized they were in a middle of a battle to the end! There was no time to sit & cry, but to take action! It has been a while since I have read these books so I was slightly surprised by some scenes, but after seeing them I remembered.

I couldn't help but get a little teary eyed thru some parts of the film. Everyone has literally watched these characters grow up. So it was a little somber to see it all come to an end. It was an amazing series of books and movies. The actors who played the characters couldn't have been any better.

I have to say my favorite character was Snape. When reading the books you hate him because of how he is portrayed, but when everything comes to light you can't help but feel sad for him. You are amazed by his deep love, sacrifices, & commitments he makes and just like that he becomes a hero.

I don't think there will ever be a series as amazing as Harry Potter, but atleast I know I can enjoy the books & movies over & over again!

& When The Board Breaks...

The bed will fall!

So today Austin & I went to my grandmother's to escape the HEAT! Our AC went out and we just couldn't stand it! My mom braved it tho and stayed behind. Why you ask...to clean! Crazy right?! I woulda DIED! And my poor baby Austin with his fur! I felt so bad for him!

We kinda just lounged around at my grandma's and watched novelas. Nothing too interesting. Then my aunt & 2 cousins came so we were just talking and hanging out. My cousin has an Ipad so I went to check movie times just to see if anything good was showing.

Well my grandma's house gets the best internet connection in one of the bedrooms so I went and sat on the bed. My two cousin's joined me and sat on the bed too. Well then my aunt came and sat on the bed and the bed just fell! It sloped down on their side and I screamed lmao! WE BROKE HER BED!

Part of the frame that holds the mattress cracked and broke off! We were laughing and freaking out at the same time. Not good! We came up with a plan & off I went home to gather supplies lol. A drill, 4 screws, & some wood glue later the bed is back in one piece!

I'm not gonna lie we did a BAD job but hey as long as people can sleep on it that's all that matters right?

I found this quote on another blogger's page & loved it. It's so touching I almost cried reading it.

"When you remember me, it means that you have carried something of who I am with you, that I have left some mark of who I am on who you are. It means that you can summon me back to your mind even though countless years and miles may stand between us. It means that if we meet again, you will know me. It means that even after I die, you can still see my face and hear my voice and speak to me in your heart."

Online Junky.

I have a problem. I'm addicted to the internet.

I seriously do EVERYTHING on the computer. I mean who needs a tv anymore?! The only good thing about a tv is showing off how many inches you have, lol seriously! Bigger is better, just saying! I have a brand new flat screen that I hardly watch. Basically I only use it to watch Teen Wolf & Young & The Restless!

When it comes to watching movies or other shows I watch them all online. I hardly watch any American tv shows. Like I said before I am big into Korean dramas and all kinds of Asian movies. And like the nerd I am I also watch anime, ex: Naruto. But hey I like what I like okay!

The only American shows I watch online are True Blood & the occasional Teen Mom. I will admit I watch bootleg movies. I can't help it. It's crazy how much the concession stands are! I'm more than happy to pop a bag of popcorn in the microwave and sit in bed and watch any new movie of my choice.

& lately I have been ordering offline O_0 My parent's even have me paying bills online too! You see how convenient that is! And now all the crazy android phones that are basically mini computers that you can do practically anything you can do on a regular computer! It seriously is the time of technology.

It's so easy to get sucked into sitting infront of a computer all day *sigh* I just remind myself that I get headaches & it's bad for my eyes! Lol. Seriously I really do wanna try and spend less time online & more time outside. But Texas heat does not make that easy!

Now that I think about it I have found a better solution. Spend more time playing with my baby Austin!

Beyoncé - Best Thing I Never Had

Love this song! I think ALOT of people can relate!

First Love.

Last night I was watching an Asian movie called, Finding Mr. Destiny. It was about a woman who was using a agnecy to find her first love from many years ago. & the biggest question was if he was her destiny.

This brings me to the subject of my post. I don't think I am going to far when I say every one has a first love. That one person who made us feel like we were gonna be together forever. Have that "happily every after." Now don't get me wrong I'm not using that phrase to be funny. We all have used and expressed those words before in some way, shape, or form. Don't try to deny it! Lol.

Is your first love your destiny? Is your first love the person you should end up with? & if you believe so is fate going to reunite you in the end if you two become seperated? Those were the question's that I asked myself after watching this movie.

After some thinking I think that there is no denying that your first love will always hold a special place in your heart. Do I think there your destiny, no. First love means to me the first experiences of a deep commitment and caring for someone. It was once said that first love is only a little foolishness and a lot of curiosity. That being said it is safe to say it is our first experience in growth and learning when it comes to adult relationships.

There's no denying first love leaves behind memories that you don't really ever forget. But that doesn't mean there won't be better ones. In a way, to me, our first love is like a stepping stone to something more...

Japanese Sweet Makers.

On my YouTube page I follow a woman who post videos of her cooking different types of Korean food. As you know YouTube recommends videos based on your subscriptions/"likes" and today it had different street vendors in Korea, Japan, and other major cities. I love sweets so when I saw videos with titles that included "sweets shop" & "dessert maker" I couldn't resist lol.

This video features a sweets shop in Shibamata. They cut their candy while creating a tune with their knives. Sounds crazy right?! It's really cool & makes me wish we had places like this in America! Check it out!

If you didn't think that was amazing then I wanna see you try it lol! This next video is of a shop in Nara. They are making mochi, a Japanese rice cake. This video is crazy because of the hammer. You just have to see for yourselves.

Now that is scary! Seriously. You could crush your hand! Here is another video of the mochi making, but it also shows slow motion so you can really see whats going on!

Wow! It's even crazier in slow motion! It would seriously be a dream to go to places like that and try all these new things! Even if I didn't like how they tasted it would be quite the experience! Don't you think?

XOXO,

A Tribute.

I just wanted to share something that I thought was beautiful. If you have read any of my previous post than you already know about Zach. When it comes to remembering someone we all have our ways of doing so. One of Zach's friends & fellow Marine decided to remember him with a tattoo.
What Would Zach Do?

Zach was a role model for all & had a huge impact on his fellow Marines. Everyone of them will say how much they learned from him. The proof is in the letters. He was a natural born leader who always looked out for his guys. Don't get me wrong he wasn't perfect, but he sure was an outstanding Marine. It is things like this tattoo that will keep his memory alive.

& Then There Was Mark.

I have an confession. It's quite embarassing. I'm scared of driving. Yes I am a grown woman who is afraid of the road. On the bright side atleast I can admit it, right? I don't know if it's really scared or I just have anxiety. I'm thinking anxiety lol.

Intially I had a scare on a drive thru Arizona. I got trapped in crazy Phoniex traffic with on going road construction, and I was already hesistant to drive. Add in a backseat driver and it's not a very good mix! I literally cried driving down the highway. It was horrible to say the least.

And I might add I didn't have my license. I didn't get my license till I was 23 or 24 I can't quite remember. But lets be serious those test are a piece of cake. The only difficult thing is the parallel parking and sometimes you don't have to do it to pass. I just wanna add that when I took my test it was the first time I tried it and did it perfect :)

Back in my teens my Mom taught me to drive, because my Dad couldn't. He tried one time and made me cry. (See the trend) I learned in shopping center parking lots and around the neighborhood. That was the extent of my driving. It wasn't until I lived in Cali that I actually drove. And it was because we always drove back and forth from Cali to Texas and vice versa.

I would take the night shift when the roads where filled with truckers. I loved it. At least until that day in Phoniex lol. I haven't really driven since. Not until I got my license and started going back to college. & even then I would have my mom drop me off and pick me up. Crazy I know.

My dad bought me my first car last year. I'm dead serious. His name is Mark. He is my main man who ventures with me on the road. I will not drive another car only Mark. My anxiety isn't that bad when I drive Mark, because I feel safe and secure. Probably because I know it's MY car and don't have to worry about hitting something!

If your wondering how I picked "Mark" the answer is easy. Mark Wahlberg. What can I say I'm a girl lol! So as I slowly venture onto the open road I know that I am one step closer to getting over my fear. & let's not forget, I'll have Mark every step of the way.

XOXO,
